Day 3: 29th July

Ok so very slow day today but on the up, I have made a huge dent in gutting my room ready for moving in with my friends in September, I have also managed to start drinking a lot more water (to be fair though any water is a lot more water for me) and I have also moved the rest of my TV stuff into the living room :) Temperature is getting tonnes better in here now to not to mention that I haven't smoked in 2 days now! May not seem like much but for me it big so ner =P

That's all today, told you it would be a quiet one but here's looking forward for tomorrow :)

Day 2: 28th July

Hi again :)

OK so today I arranged to meet up with a few old school friends back home for a BBQ this Sunday. Tasha and her son Justin and our friend Becky. I haven't seen Becky in over a year and Tasha I only got in contact with a few months back after a few years of no hearing from her so whoop whoop to old friendships :P Also seeing even more old school friends reunion style at the cinema in a few weeks too so that should be good :D

I also helped out Spudington to get his assignment underway. Only 6 more models to go dude, keep it up!

And to top off the whole thing my GF finally text me so I know she is back from London safe and sound. Seems like a silly thing to worry about but it really was hurting my calm not knowing if she was OK or not, so that was a major worry off my mind.

That's all for today and don't expect too much to happen tomorrow as I am planning on cleaning and eating and sleeping lol.

TTFN xx

Day 1: 27th July

Day 1
27/07/2014

Hey All!

Ok so right on into it. Today was a slow relaxed day. The temperature dropped in my flat a little which, as anybody who has ever visited me in summer knows, is an absolute godsend! I have finally gotten round to watching Sword Art Online which is amazing. To anybody who doesn't know what this is, its an Anime show (only about 25 episodes long at present) and is based around the concept of a MMORPG game which is all in virtual reality. The game disables your ability to move, see, hear etc. and instead transfers those signals into the game to move your avatar. The first episode shows the creator of the game trapping everybody inside the game and changing the game so that if you die in game, you die in real life (IRL). I love the way the show plays on its MMO style with things like messaging, inventories, skill stats and parties/guilds, it's a nice change of pace and a brilliant story. 20 mins of the day left and I am on episode 20 :S I should really get out more lol.

On top of that I found time to meet up with my dear friend Megan Blackwell. sat chatting for an hour downstairs and talking with her always cheers me up and provides me with much food for thought.

Actually finding the blog helping after just an hour of opening it. I'm looking forward to tomorrow when I meet up at the labs in uni for helping a friend out with assignments and playing games :) See you all then :)

Forward: 26th July

Ok so after seeing alot of these X days of happiness things on Facebook I have decided to make this blog. I dont really know how all theirs work but to hell with it. Between now and when I start up my next blog assignment with uni I am going to post here every day (when possible) saying at least one thing good that happened in the day. I will start here with yesterday as part of this forward :)

26/07/2014

Today I went down to London with my good friend Tom (Spud) Hill to attend Hyper Japan, a celebration of all things Japan. The day was amazing and I got to eat and drink things I have never tried before. I have also decided to learn to cook some of the things on offer down there including these lovely little pancake style things. Ill post up my successes on here for all to see :) I also got a lot of inspiration for 2015 Drakonfest LARP in which I am going as a wandering Ronin. I will be learning all things traditional to Japan including the Bushido code and I will endeavor to live my life by in when in character (and out of character if it applies).

Then to round off the day my good friend Mike Maggs came over for a chit chat and we sat up and watched all manor of funny things on YouTube and had takeaway chicken burger and chips. All in all, a very good day!
